​​SHIPPING POLICY

Giftobasket ships its products to almost all parts of India. Orders placed will be shipped within 48* hrs. We ship on all days except Sunday and National Holidays.

Shipping Charges:  Shipping charges are based on Zone or area pin code where the product is to be delivered on all orders below Rs. 499/-

For orders above Rs. 499 (Excluding COD charges, Taxes or value reduced after application of coupons or any other offer) free shipping is available at certain locations only. For other locations, additional shipping charges will be applicable. At these locations, in which additional charges are applicable, the Rs. 49 shipping charge will be added to the shipping charges for all orders below Rs. 499 (with exclusions as above).

The shipping charge applicable will be visible to you when you enter the shipping address while you are checking out with your order.

These shipping charges applicable are not refundable in the case of return/cancellation of the product or the order.

The shipping charges can be modified by Giftobasket at any point without prior intimation. The new charges would reflect on the product page as well as in the checkout flow.

Every once in a while, Giftobasket brings out various offers in an attempt to satisfy customers. Various offers could be introduced for a limited span of time that enable free shipping of goods, subject to the fulfillment of the terms and conditions attached to the offer.

Estimated Delivery Time: For all Metro Cities serviced by reputed couriers, the delivery time would be within 4 to 7 business days of shipping (business days exclude Sundays and other holidays). However items weighing over 2 kilos or high volume may take a couple of days longer to reach. For other areas the products will be shipped through Indian Postal Service and may take 7-14 business days depending on location.

The delivery date displayed while placing the order i.e. on the Product Details, Cart, Checkout and Order Confirmation page and in the order confirmation email are tentative. It may change once the order is shipped. Post shipment of the order, an Estimated Delivery Date will be displayed on Courier tracking Page ( Link Shared with you via email/sms )Page which will help you to keep a track of the shipment status of your order.

Giftobasket ensures to provide a delightful customer experience by delivering the products as per the Estimated Delivery Date communicated as above, however, at times there might be unexpected delays in the delivery of your order due to unavoidable and undetermined logistics challenges beyond our control for which Giftobasket is not liable and would request its users to cooperate as Giftobasket continuously tries to nought such instances. Also, Giftobasket reserves the right to cancel your order at its sole discretion in cases where it takes longer than usual delivery time or the shipment is physically untraceable and refund the amount paid for cancelled product(s) in your Giftobasket Store wallet.

Address Change: You can change the delivery address of your order only if the order is in Pending status and none of the item(s) purchased in the order are shipped. However, if there are any variations in the charges/taxes (if any) applied for the original delivery address used while placing the order v/s the delivery address to be updated, the request for updating the delivery address might not be accepted.

Hidden Charges (Sales tax, Octroi etc): You will get the final price during check out. Our prices are all inclusive and you need not pay anything extra.

International Locations: Currently we do not deliver to locations outside India

Tracking Packages: We will mail you the name of the courier company and the tracking number of your consignment in your registered email address and via sms. In case you do not receive a mail from us within 48hrs of placing an order please check your spam folder. Tracking may not appear online for up to another 24 hours in some cases, so please wait until your package is scanned by the courier company.

Non-availability on Delivery: Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver the package thrice before it is returned back to our warehouse. Please provide your correct mobile number in the delivery address as it will help in making a faster delivery.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY ORDER?

You can cancel your COD or Pre-paid order at any time prior to its shipment, but after shipment the same can`t be Cancelled.

What is Giftobasket’s Return policy?

We offer easy replacement for all products sold on Giftobasket.com, under certain conditions which are mentioned below:

1. In case of any manufacturing defect / transit damages customers has to be reported us within 24 hours from the delivery, After which we may not be able to accept the complaint.

2. We may ask you to share the images of the product and the internal & external packaging material.

3. Once we agree to replace, then we will replace the defective/damaged product with a brand new product at no extra cost.

4. Giftobasket will try to replace the specific product ordered. However, Giftobasket reserves the right to offer an alternate product in case the product is Out of Stock or Discontinued by the manufacturer.

5. Return policy is not valid for perishable products such as Cakes, Flowers, Chocolates, etc. If one comes across any issue with these products, they are advised to contact our customer support team within 24 hours. We will try to resolve the complaint in the best possible manner; however, it’s not guaranteed that we’ll be able to provide replacement/refund request.

6. Damages due to normal wear & tear and negligence on part of the customer is not returnable at all.

7. Giftobasket Return Policy is implied only where the product have defect or damage. Cases where the wrong selection was made by the customer or Shipment not Accepted at the Time of Delivery will be considered discretionary returns and may attract Cancellation/ Restocking Charges ( up to 20% or Shipment and Return Shipment Charges whichever is heigher).

8. Customers may be asked to send the product back to us through a courier of Thier choice. In case of returns for a cause – where a different product is delivered from the ordered product OR the product got damaged in transit – Giftobasket will reimburse up to 10% of the product price or Rs.100, whichever is lower for returning the products back to us,(will be paid as Store Credit / Gift Card Balance). In case of returns of choice – where the customer does not like the product or simply changes mind – the courier charges for the returns will have to be borne by the customer.

9. Giftobasket Replacement policy is applicable only on the products “sold by Giftobasket” and not from any other Merchant / Seller or Marketplace. In that case, Seller Specific Return Policy will be followed.

10. Giftobasket is not responsible for any in-transit damages, while product has been shipped by the customer. Customer is solely responsible for the damage claim from courier company.

 Following are the terms and conditions for return/replacement:

· Products must be in their original condition.

· Only unused, unaltered, unsoiled products with their original tags will be accepted.

· Brand packaging should be intact. Do not paste anything or use any adhesive based tape on the original packaging. If needed, you may put it in a plastic bag and then stick over it.

· Replacements will be made basis availability of that product on the website.

· Brand’s policy shall apply for specific branded product. We source branded products and these products are bound by brand policies of repair, exchange, refunds and cancellations thereby binding the customer with the same.

How will I know that my order is cancelled ?

You shall receive an automated e-mail once the order is cancelled. You can also check the Cancellation status by visiting “My order” segment under “My account” section. Usually, it takes upto 48 hours to process cancellation.

Why did Giftobasket cancel my order?

 Your order can be cancelled due to any of the below reasons:

· Technical issues related to pricing information.

· Non-availability of the product(s).

· Payment problem identified by Fraud Detection Department.

Note: We may put additional checks and verification's or seek more information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or a part of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order.

I want to return a faulty/damaged product, how do I proceed?

Please follow the below mentioned steps :

· Click clear images of the product showing damages.

· Email us the images.

· Explain the exact detail of the damage/defect and the status of the package that you received.

· The complaint and the images should be sent to us within 48 hours of the delivery. Failing to do so, we will not be able to serve the claim for you.

· Once we approved the return request, You have to send the product back to us.

· Once the product reaches us, our Quality Analysts will evaluate your returned product to ensure adherence to our Returns Guidelines.

When are returns not possible?

There are certain scenarios where it is difficult for us to support returns, which are:

· If the return request is made outside the specified time frame.

· Items that are returned without original packaging, freebies or accessories.

· If the product is damaged because of use or the product is not in the same condition in which you had received it.

· Defective products which are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.

· Any consumable item which has been installed or used.

· Products that may/have been tampered or products with missing serial numbers. 

Can I add items and combine orders after I have placed an order?

We currently do not allow the facility of adding or combining orders once they have been placed. In case of COD orders that have not been shipped, you may cancel the order and place another one.

How will I get a refund for the order I cancelled or returned? 

The refund process will be initiated only once we have received the product back in our warehouse and we have completed all quality checks and verifications at our end. The mode of refund may depend on the mode of payment used at the time of placing the order.

· Please note that the shipping charges and COD charges are non-refundable.

· Refund will be done by the same method we received the payment in. In exceptions, we may ask you for the Bank account details.If the payment mode was Cash on Delivery, we will refund the amount to the bank account of your choice. Bank details will be taken during refund process. Please ensure that the details that you enter is correct. Giftobasket will not validate a Bank Account number and is not responsible for funds transferred to an unintended recipient.

· If you have received a mail from us confirming your refund request, then rest assured that we have initiated your refund request and are following up with financial organisations for the same.

· Sometimes financial organizations take a longer time to process the refund request. However, if the refund hasn’t happened by the date we promised, you can contact us. We will gladly help you.
